RodFel Law is lead by our founder and manager partner Carlos Rodríguez-Feliz, an award winning Miami-based entertainment attorney specializing in music, entertainment, and intellectual property law. He represents the next generation of legal counseling in the ever-changing era of technology, digital rights, digital content monetization, and global reach in the entertainment industry. Serving both local and international clients, he uses his extensive knowledge and expertise to negotiate a wide variety of agreements and litigate in court to protect his clients’ interests and careers. He proudly provides each client with personalized, prompt, and efficient legal representation.

An experienced attorney who provides clients with business law, civil litigation, and immigration counsel as well, has unique expertise in the Latin music industry. His work includes negotiating and drafting recording agreements, publishing agreements, administration agreements, management agreements, touring agreements, and sponsorship agreements among others. He has worked in many aspects of the entertainment industry by advising artists, managers, actors, social media influencers, writers, directors, songwriters, independent record companies, music publishers, and brands. Regardless of the area within the entertainment industry, his goal is to promote his clients’ business endeavors and effectively protect their intellectual property. He has also played a key role in organizing many of his clients’ corporate structures, including setting up their business entities, protecting their intellectual property through the registration and licensing of their trademarks and copyrights, and prosecuting against infringement when necessary.

Background & Education
Mr. Rodríguez-Feliz is originally from Puerto Rico where he acquired his J.D. from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. While in law school, he served as the president and founder of the Entertainment and Arts Law Student Association and worked in corporate and intellectual property law at a prestigious firm. After completing his J.D., Mr. Rodríguez-Feliz moved to Miami and obtained a Masters of Law (LL.M.) in Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law from the University of Miami School of Law.
